What kind of flare ups? If inflammatory based I had to start with food based changes. Limiting sugar, dairy, salt, eliminating gluten, those were my biggest starters. I try to stay hydrated because I’m so much worse off when I don’t drink enough. Vitamin D (with calcium for absorption) Vitamin Bs, and magnesium have been beneficial. But honestly I’m noticing my biggest uncontrollable trigger is stress and pushing myself too hard. Example: today was a kids get together for my daughter’s birthday. Took a group of kids to an indoor play park, climbing stuff, slides. The whole lead up made me anxious, it was great once we got in, but the. My daughter wanted me to climb and slide. I knew I shouldn’t. But for her I did one too many. I know tomorrow will be a world of pain 😬
