Increase in chronic pain recently and being told I have to get surgery every 1-4 years to manage. Is this accurate? I’ve already had one surgery

If the doctor said so then it could be. It wouldn't hurt to ask another. Although endometriosis tissue is always growing and the only way to make it less bad is surgery to remove some. If you have it growing rapidly enough then you may be needing to have it keep getting removed.

Always get a second opinion and sometimes it has to be someone who really is experienced in endo which means it might be out of network with out of network cost.

Joining Nancy's Nook on Facebook was a game changer for me. It's a huge compilation library of everything endo related, how and why to choose a Nook approved surgeon (because tons of non-endo specialists are happy to operate on you which will pretty much ensure that you will need surgery every few years), etc. It's a ton of reading, but well worth it... 💜

second Nancy's nook! You need an expert in the field. Unfortunately they are few and far between

I have had 4 surgeries to remove endometriosis since I was diagnosed.
