My biggest issue with depression and college has been executive dysfunction. It helps to set alarms and make up a reasonable schedule of plans for the day including a decent amount of breaks and times to eat/snack.

If possible, take fewer classes and or try remote classes. I had to cut back on classes and only took 2 or 3 a semester. I know this isn't an option for everyone but it sure did help

Definitely reach out to the counselor on campus, if you’re able to. That helped me get my meds set up and at least have someone to talk to about what was going on. Don’t be afraid to be honest with staff and friends; you are struggling and you need help. They may be able to offer alternatives to getting work done and attending class. I didn’t get accommodations when I was severely depressed in college. I pushed myself to burnout and trudged through mostly on my own. You deserve to get that help, though. You deserve to enjoy and look forward to your life. It’s okay to struggle, but there are plenty of people who want to help you succeed.

thanks for the advice this was really nice to hear. I’m sorry you didn’t get to what you needed out of your experience. I hope you’re doing well now.
