I have had limited success. Mostly because I couldn't stick to it. But for about 8 months, I kept my a1c below 6 using only diet and exercise. The problem for me was that I had to be SO strict with my diet in order to accomplish this, that I was only eating about 20g carbs total in a day. So it wasn't sustainable for me personally. However, I also know that not everyone's pancreas with T2D functions at the same level, so it's definitely possible for some people!

thank you for your response. I am currently working on 35 carbs a day. I was at 20 for 2 years and it was really difficult. I’m low carb with an a1c of 5.3 so more room for improvement.

Yes a1c down to 6.2 from 8.1. ❤️🤗👍I don't eat breads, sugars, cereals at all. Still trying to get down under 5.5. Whew... it's difficult. I'm not giving up on it. Ever.
