I had to quit teaching Preschool because of my knees, I couldn't get down on the Children's level. Naproxen messed up my stomach so I would take Ibuprofen PM but not now since I heard that is bad for older people.

I take Meloxicam for my osteoarthritis and it helps. It is an anti-inflammatory and it helps take a lot of the edge off.

My doctor prescribed Meloxicam, but I googled it and read some scary side effects of the drug. I did try it as needed instead of one per day and it worked for awhile, then stopped working. I stopped taking it altogether. Considering trying it again when the pain is really bad in shoulders.
