Struggling to Manage POTS Symptoms Without Medication

what can I do to help manage my POTS? my doctor is reluctant to put me onto any medication due to the amount of medication I am already on. what I know of is salt and low carb diet, however that is all I have been told. my doctor isn't really helping me manage my POTS at all. I'm constantly tired, constantly thirsty, my head is hurting so bad all the time. I'm always cold. I just need advice on what I can do. I'm open to any advice really. its been 5 months since my diagnosis and even long (talking years) to get the diagnosis. any food ideas, aids, adaptations, anything will be helpful to know.

certain medications or substances can make POTS symptoms worse. personally, stimulants (including caffeine) make me feel terrible, so I avoid them.
