Hey (: I use CBT and mindfulness. I was very skeptical in the beginning, but I feel it helped me to gain control over myself.

I also am in CBT therapy. I will start my session next month. Although therapy might help I wish I could add medicine to my treatment. I am thinking about talking to my therapist about trying CBD oil. Any advice if it worked for anyone? Thanks.

I tried Cbd oil and for some times it’s best for when I’m at home and need it to calm my racing thoughts. As for ptsd and the pseudo seizures I can’t say that it’s worked for me. I have them very frequently. I say writing out my thoughts before they happen and mindfulness or grounding techniques

ammonia salts - strong smells that wake you up. sensations, warmth - look up the window of tolerance and specifically like activating grounding techniques - the ones that calm you down will make it worse. box breathing (breath in for 4s, hold for 4s, Release for 4s wait for 4s) paired with tensing muscles as you breath in and releasing them as you breath out helps get rid of the excess seizure energy sometimes. if you notice its coming on, try and do some light exercise, speak to someone, worst case scenario distract yourself. pay attention to your triggers - light, temperature, hunger, overstimulation . and every day try and stay present, take it slow, notice things like the wallpaper every time you enter the room, the sound of the air con- little things like that. and don't close your eyes while meditating and breathing bc that makes it worse for me. hope any of this helps! 💕💕
