Managing Vocal Tics with Social Anxiety

I only started having tics recently in life, theyre mostly physical and people tend to ignore those, but the verbal ones are becoming more frequent. Mostly violent stuff. It’s embarrassing to say. The triggers come from social anxiety im pretty sure, they manifest whenever i think of something embarrassing i did, which is often. How do you manage vocal tics or how do i talk about them to other people? Whenever they ask me whats up, i find myself tongue tied, not wanting to explicitly say ive been having tics but also desperately wanting to explain it to them.

Hi! I can really relate to what you're going through.. I started seeing a therapist after a few tough months like that and she helped me a lot in coping with the anxiety and even controlling some of the tics. Don't stay on your own in this!
