Cannabis saved my life when I was in crisis. I was originally using it for pain management. I highly recommend. If you live in a Med state you should get the card. You will get access to higher percentages of thc and save on tax. Also download the Leafly app. You can read about different strains and what helps more with pain or depression or both.

I tried medical marijuana for both fibro and IBS. In the background, I suffer from anxiety attacks, panic, and depression. I can say for myself it really exacerbated the anxiety, so I quit relatively quickly. But I have heard from many friends that it is very helpful for pain! Maybe it's worth giving it a try.

It helps me sleep. The THC lotion helps with my daily pain. I recommend it. I like the edibles best.

The vapes are nice too. Don’t cough as much and you don’t smell like weed.

Yes pothead here 🙌 love it for my chronic pain. Really doesn't affect my depression but definitely helps my pain level

@Quinee I get super anxious and paranoid if I smoke sativa or sativa dominant hybrids. If you ever try again, stick with indica.

I definitely don’t care about my chronic illnesses nearly as much when I’m high 🤣

So im in the works of getting my card but what i have tried over the counter have worked the best for me so far, now im not doing tch im doing cbd because it does make me sleepy and i am still in school. Also there is a difference between over the counter and what's a the actual dispensaries, the over counter is hemp cbd which is the male plant the other is the female plant. Also the cbd foes really do anything for my depression but im still on the hemp cbd so when i go on the actual cbd ill let you know but so far nothing has improved or gotten worse. Plus cbd help with a lot like immunity, eczema, and a lot more.

Hi. I had been wanting to try MM. I talked to my cardiologist and he ok’ed it but he isn’t here anymore. I have been nervous about asking my primary NP. I’ve been tempted to just try to buy some weed from a dealer if I could find one.

I take it daily, as a tincture rather than smoke or edibles. It is an amazing help, but the munchies are a very real thing, so have healthy-ish options ready. Also, pot dreams are a thing.

I got my medical marijuana card in September and quite gabapentin because the brain fog was debilitating. I smoke, vape and use edibles.

I’ve used medical marijuana for over two years, I’ve used it daily for over three, and It has been an absolute life saver for me with chronic pain and especially with my mental symptoms; anxiety, executive function, etc. I use a daily pain tincture (thc:thca 1:1) which keeps me way more level and keeps the fatigue and joint pain at bay, and I use wax concentrate whenever I have a particularly bad flare up, it’s the fasted working method for me. I’d recommend reading the book Cannabis Is Medicine by Bonni Goldstein, it’s really helpful if you’re interested in trying out different methods/terpines for specific issues

I've been a cannabis user for 8 years, that was 10 years after suffering and getting no relief from prescription drugs. No regrets.

I have often wondered if it could help me though I wouldn’t want to smoke it as smoking is bad for your physical health. I am aware there are other ways of ingesting it though. My boyfriend uses it sometimes to help with his eating disorder and chronic pain. He says it can be very helpful! I live in a state where it's illegal unless it's for certain medical conditions. Not sure which ones are legal at this time. Also, the nearest dispensary is quite a way away and because of my anxiety, I can only really drive in my small town so I don’t know how I would get if I could qualify for it. I also worry because my family is all opposed to drug use. So they might not like me using it even if it was legal.
