Struggling to Maintain Hobbies During MCL Treatment

Hey, has anyone with MCL felt like they've had to ditch a hobby they used to love because of treatment? I used to be all about biking, but it's been tough to keep up with lately. It's a bummer to see my favorite pastime take a backseat to my health. Anyone got any tips on how to keep doing what you love or pick up new hobbies during treatment?

Yeah, it kinda sucks! I felt the same here, I had to adjust and find something less demanding. The good news is that it will pass when you will be a few months after the treatments and you'll be back on your feet (and bike!)

I hear you... I too swayed to more relaxed activities during my treatment... I got rrreally hooked to meditation. and I like to swing by this kids’ book club and read stories to the little ones. helps me find some solace! find alternative activities that'll make you happy... It's super important in life! Sending lots of love your way!

@Yoki9 Meditation is something I got into more when diagnosed and I realized I should have been doing it all along! BTW - Loving your idea about reading stories to little ones. I'm going to learn if I can do something like that where I live too! Thank you for the inspiration!

@Grammmmy Gardening season has just started where I live and I am so happy about it. Always makes me feel happy and grounded while I plant things! What about you?

@MuaniJameson During my treatment for a different type of blood cancer I tried to do activities I loved in the morning while I had some energy (do you have more in the morning?) and also to give in to taking naps. Your body needs them to recover.
