Why Don't I Want to Take Medication for Period Cramps?

i'm on like 4 medications for various issues which I am completely fine with but how come when I'm on my period and have bad cramps I dont want to take medication for it? I'm a huge psychology nerd and can explain pretty much every human behavior, but theres some things about myself that confuse the crap out of me lmao. I'm guessing it could be pride but I dont have a proud bone in my body. maybe I'm just lazy or something

No literally I love the mind soo much, and I do this so much. Honestly, I’m the opposite when it comes to pills and my period. I’m always stacking up on that Advil (even tho it doesn’t do much for cramps).

brains are so cool tho~ like how your brain can trick itself while being fully aware that its trying to trick itself. Love love love psychology

Bro it’s wild. I take over 10 pills a day just to survive and I still refuse to take pain pills for period cramps. Idk why we have this primal urge to tough it out but my theory is to get us ready for labor. Or we’ve just been told we’re weak our whole lives so we have to do stupid shit like that to prove we aren’t.

When my cramps are bad I can’t even think about swallowing a pill.. I don’t know but it almost makes me feel sicker to think about when I’m already cramping

For me, I take a pharmacy of pills for various conditions, but don't like taking anything else. I think it's because it is the 1 thing I can control. I can't control my diseases, but I can control if I take something for period cramps. It's crazy.
