I got diagnosed with bipolar depression. Do you have episodes? Like where you are suicidal? I just started vraylar. I hope it helps im so tired. I also realized that im beating myself up in my mind all day and putting myself down. Im trying to stop but thats a hard habit to break

Lithium helped me with my bipolar depression. It's not as great as I'd like it to be but it's better than having suicidal thoughts every day

I have bipolar depression as well. Ziprasidone is what's working for me. It also helps me sleep sometimes, so I take two 40mg pills at night.

They tested me for bipolar and cyclothymia, but it's just MDD caused by cPTSD. I'm on 5 diff meds. I'm the best I've ever been, but still have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning if I don't have to. I want to wake up and look forward to starting my day. I want to find things I look forward to, but I'd rather just lay in bed. I will say I no longer cry all the time or have suicidal thoughts. Def a plus!

Ability and effexor has helped me

Effexor is really the only thing that worked to stop my depression from being overwhelming. I really struggle with finding other ways to treat it other than doing therapy weekly which of course also helps but I find that my depression gets very overwhelming if I don’t have the extra help from medicine. I know you mentioned medication wasn’t really working for you so I hope others may have more ideas! I would just make sure to have a good therapist to work with because that’s the only thing I’ve known to be useful

I agree, effexor was like the only med that's worked for me too!
