Seeking advice on medication side effects

Hi I was prescribed fluoxetine 5 weeks ago and after taking two 20mg tablets I experienced uncontrollable body tremors that still 5 weeks later I suffer from especially when stressed or anxious. I've been prescribed citalopram 10mg instead which I've took in the past but I can't remember whether I had any side effects. I go to mexico on the 17th of June and don't want to still feel bad then and I'm scared to take them because of the body tremors from fluoextine. any suggestions?

hey, im so sorry you had this experience it sounds really scary. I havent had citalopram but personally I would take a break from meds (if you havent already started taking citalopram) until you feel better and to hype yourself up read about peoples good experiences while taking citalopram, it helps me feel less anxious
