Navigating My Mental Health Journey

Trying this as I've recently started to actively understand what's always been going on with me. Only done therapy for about a year, and have only been medicated for a month. Just trying to get a grip on how I feel and react to things in a more healthy way.

I know its only been a month but has therapy or the meds helped at all?

therapy has helped, been able to kinda talk about things in the moment. The meds are helping. Not so stuck in the negative, shapeless feeling. More a float on all of it. Easier to process it. It still makes its way through, but it doesn't stay as long.

Thats really amazing. For only one month! Wait until its been longer how great you will feel. Wish I could afford therapy. Ive only tried one antidepressant only for one day lol. It was a horrible experience.

That sucks. I've always been afraid to try meds in fear I would lose who I am as a person. It's hasn't done that, is just making me able to think my way out of the bad feelings...sometimes. It's definitely not bullet proof, but is something.

exactly. Uve heard it can make people flat. When I tried it ot just made my body here when trying to fall asleep and panic attacks like crazy. Want to try another but so scared. So happy though its working for you.
