Dealing with Mental Health Issues: My Journey So Far

Hello, I'm 18 and recently addressed some of my mental issues for the first time. My doctor was having a hard time understanding what exactly was wrong, so I've tried antidepressant, stimulant, and mood stabilizer so far, and I definitely think I'm getting better but there will be off days when I feel scared that I will start spiraling again

I’m glad you feel better. Do you have someone you can talk to when you are afraid you may spiral? In person, call or text a supportive family member or friends. 🙏

this happens to me a lot i just take it as a sign i need stronger medication as well as therapy. you need to balance fixing chemical imbalances as well as making changes to your routine that you enjoy.

getting better isn’t linear, so you need to remember that on those worse days you need to be more gentle with yourself

Thank you everyone, I forgot to check my messages for a while, but I appreciate the kind words. Unfortunately I tend to forget that it's okay to have "off days" so they can scare me a bit, but I do have some good people to talk to and I feel that the Seroquel has been very helpful.
