Struggling with Mental Health and Making Friends as an Adult

Hello fellow Alikes, I’ve never really used an app like this but I got the ads and thought I’d give it a try. Lately my mental health has been deep in the gutter.. I’d really like to make friends, but in adult life lately that seems impossible. I don’t have much money for activities plus my chronic fatigue/pain make a lot of things unbearable. Idk, does anyone have any suggestions?

Same here! Looks like we have a lot of the same major conditions, Crohn's and Endometriosis being 2 biggies. I find my chronic fatigue to really interfere with daily life and especially work and no one seems to get it

Making friends as an adult is SO hard. Are you well enough to go for a light walk? Getting out of the house can be really difficult for me sometimes. Setting a goal of walking around the block or to the corner and back on a sunny afternoon feels nice and gives me a sense of accomplishment. I’ve met some of my neighbors this way and we say hi.
