Seeking Support and Advice for Mental Health Recovery

Hello. I’m 17 and in the process of recovery at home with almost no support after being hospitalized in December. Support. help with coping, and advice for self acceptance would be really helpful.

firstly, recovery is hard as S#!T. you’ve basically been taught to swim in a 4’ pool only to be thrown into the middle of an ocean. i know you can swim safely to shore, even if you can’t swim like an olympic star. any paddle, any stroke, any move is progress. pls message me if you wanna chat or have virtual meals together 💛

Hi Kat! Wow i’m so proud first of all. Coming home from the hospital to no aftercare is incredibly difficult and it means you really care to seek support and guidance. i’ve found some online free support groups that i used when i wasn’t in any levels of care! let me know if you want any links

hi! if you need any financial assistance or housing services, message me! recovery is difficult. not having a support system during such a taxing process feels so isolating. have you tried out-patient therapy? :0
