Misdiagnosed with Bipolar Disorder?

I feel as though I may have bpd instead of bipolar. I'm very moody and experience highs and lows, but bpd is shown a lot with people who are nuerodivergent, which I am. I might bring this up to my therapist, but is there anyone out there who's experiencing the same thing or experienced a misdiagnosis?

Hey, I actually got diagnosed with both , first bipolar and then borderline personality disorder, and I highly related to the borderline personality key traits such as fear of abandonment and chronically feeling empty inside and the flipping of idealizing a person and hating them and other traits, and I always scored extremely high on the self assessments and so I brought that to the attention of my new doctor for psychiatry and she took it seriously and I now have a new direction of therapy with my therapist and meds are primarily still for bipolar but also for borderline. I hope that helps at least a little.
