Looking for Mobility Aids to Alleviate Knee Pain

Hi all! It seems my knees have been struggling some when I walk. My right knee does a painful pop every few steps and I am fearful of the chance of a subluxation in the future. I use KT tape sometimes, and braces do not help. What mobility aids may others use to alleviate knee pain?

Have you tried heating pads for relieving pain? I also get the pops in both of my knees but mostly in the leg I previously subluxated tripping on uneven sidewalk.
