I usually lately watch YouTube and put on a nice morning scenery such as a coffee shop cafe with comforting music jazz or something very relaxing. Then I focus on all the things on the screen as I make coffee with my favorite creamer. After feeding all my cats. Then I sit and read a lot of articles and journal's research stuff constantly while I take notes. This helps with all my ideas and projects I want to complete. If I remember I take my Wellbutrin. I stop feeling too emotional. So this really helps. I lower my anxiety by doing this. However, I need to incorporate more physical therapy to help with my back joints and all. Yoga was helping immensely. Plus my aroma therapy oils.

Brush teeth, drink water. Wear earplugs until I don’t feel so triggered, or until I’m ready to switch to having music on. I listen to music every morning instead of NPR. So much less stressful. Also music is my special interest so this makes sense for me. I would recommend giving yourself a small slot of time (if you know you are able to stop when needed) to engage your special interest or read about it. It gives you something to look forward to, but also remember back to during your whole day.

I take my medication first thing, then take a shower or wash up, depending on if I slept too long. Then once I'm dressed I eat yogurt & granola or Special K. I read devotional s while eating. Feed my cats and off to work, feeling exhausted most days. I fight falling asleep if not moving. It's so frustrating, now I'm having alot of forgetfulness if I vary my routine. Forgetting important stuff at work. I'm lucky to still have my job.
