For me my hands clench a lot when I’m anxious so it’s nice to just kinda pull gently on you fingers. For legs I like to take hot/warm baths. Headaches I go with the strongest med I can safely take.

Probably a bath is the best bet for muscle pain, especially if you throw some epsom salt or a CBD bath bomb in it

Personally, if my girlfriend is around when I have one, she gently massages my back and shoulders, she doesn't know what she's doing- said it herself -but it helps a little. Also, dogdad13, CBD bath bombs?? How effective are those? Been looking into CBD stuff to replace some of my medicines and help me out in general.

gentle stretching, lots of water, heat and cold compresses if the pain is localized to one spot

I do hot baths, rub on a CBD balm that's non sticky, do some gentle stretching or yoga if I feel up to it, and cover up with an electric blanket when it's really bad.

Def bath or shower if possible. Rest....massage if you can. Spa day. Self care day. Snuggle up with blankets & a heating pad. I highly recommend one of those stuffed animals with rice or whatever in them that you microwave (they come with lavender now) and snuggling up with that or using a massager where you need it. Meditation too. Muscle meditation, YouTube it. You lay in bed and relax each muscle one by one throughout your entire body. I also have a weighted blanket. I need like 3 blankets, 3 pillows and 2 stuffed animals to sleep comfortably...

Agree with the person who said hot bath - if you don’t have a tub, a shower will do. I also swear by a cheap Theragun!

Also get a heating pad and lay down on it or have it around your neck while you watch tv. Heat really relaxes my muscles. I find I’m tending up a lot without realizing it until later when I’m in pain. I keep a heating pad in my bedroom and by the couch.

JarBoyo I've only tried one once but it was amazing, I felt so relaxed after and didn't even feel my back pain for a minute there

Hot bath. Also slow deep stretching, also called restorative yoga. Check out YouTube for examples of the exercises.

Cbd oil or even teas. Hot to cold showers (cold when anxiety hot for the pain). Heating packs and pads will save your life.
