Muscle Knots and Fibromyalgia

Has anyone had their muscles go into knots without pain. I have a lump on my right calf that’s been there for 7 weeks, and my doctor is saying it’s just my fibromyalgia. I’m kinda frustrated because it’s making my leg feel weak.

Me personally, I'd get a second opinion. Get it checked out at the er or something where they might actually do scans to see what's up. That's just me though

I have. But they wouldn’t do anything more than check for a blood clot. I’m just more worried because every doctor or nurse I’ve talked to other than my doctor seem to think it’s very strange

I don’t trust my doctor fully. This last year, she has missed pancreatitis and covid, blaming both on my fibromyalgia.

Oh then I would DEFINITELY get a second opinion.. And maybe a new doctor.. That's just unforgivable and doesn't sound much like she cares 😥

Yes, I have knots in my shoulders and even tried a manual therapist and everything, including massages and they never have gone away and it’s been quite a few years now. I also read something online recently, and for me it could be a physical manifestation of emotional/mental pain
