Those are tremors! A tremor can be a rhythmic shaking movement in one or more parts of your body, or even just a quick flinch of the muscle. It is involuntary, meaning that you cannot control it. This shaking happens because of muscle contractions. A tremor is most often in your hands, and can cause you to drop things. You often don’t see them coming, but it’s very likely to happen before a seizure, and can cause you to fall. Best thing to do if you start having tremors is to sit down and wait for them to pass, and do your best not to panic.

I was diagnosed with myoclonic epilepsy. I also thought they were muscle spasms, but throwing my phone and cups of chocolate milk is a bit more intense. I also stutter sometimes because of it and take gasps weirdly
