Muscle Twitching After Recovering from Covid

Hi all, since recovering from Covid in early January, I developed muscle twitching. They happen on my leg mostly, but I noticed now they are happening everywhere. I just had a weird facial spasm. I went to a neurologist last month and he told me I had post Covid syndrome. Any one else dealing with something like this?

Oh, that’s disappointing to hear. I was considering going to one. Has it made you more fatigued and twitchy? How has it made you worse?

✋ yupp! A year post covid and I still twitch, reprehensible trying to relax. I recently had nerve testing done and I was told I have over reactive reflexes and micro tremors in my muscles

The chiropractor started manipulating my neck and lower back, after every session I would notice more pain and twitching. I don’t know if this will be everyone’s experience but for me it has given me more anxiety and muscle spasms.

I’d kill for that to be my only symptom. Perhaps more potassium would help?

I have one extremely painful back spasm that when it starts it contracts every 10 seconds for up to 2 days. And often sensation of ants dancing in a line or circle on parts of my back. First thought it was Post-viral Neuropathy. PT discovered my brain has forgotten where parts of my back are, called (?something) Scrubbing. When back sends signals, brain says whoa don't recognize, must defend and does so by clenching those muscles. If you draw letters or numbers in certain areas of my back I can't tell what they are. Having someone practice those on me regularly helped. KT muscle tape helps as it gives near constant sensory input.
