My Chart Password and Medical Certification

Do you feel comfortable using your My Chart password on this app so you can have your condition certified? and what will happen if I never give Alikes my My Chart password?

Giving out your private medical information Is against the HIPAA laws. But if you so choose to give it out that would be your choice. Sounds like a dangerous thing to do to me.

I wouldn’t do that. They have enough info. Most of us are adults here and we know what we have. I trust that there isn’t people that would fake this stuff. I mean I’m sure there are but for the majority I don’t really care to be “verified” by an app. This is a place we can vent. Get advice. Give advice and find folks to lean on and be a shoulder if anyone needs one. Just my opinion.

I did but that’s because I was willing to accept any downsides that came with it. I am an opened book and don’t really care about who has my information. I do agree that it can be concerning.
