My Journey with Atopic Dermatitis: Hoping for a Solution

I recently had my first real dermatology appointment for constantly worsening atopic dermatitis... 4 weeks of yet more steroid ointment (😭) but then onto methotrexate. I hope this is my answer 💗

I hope you find relief! I cant afford a dermatologist and steroids weren't doing anything. I do UV therapy at home and use frankincense oil

Ooh ok this remedy was my savior. I took a bath with baking soda added to the water for ten minutes. This helped loosen all the dead skin so the steroids could get to the root of the problem. Hope this helps and you find relief soon ❤️

I have had atopic dermatitis for years, to the point where topical ointments and cream have no effect. Tried the methotrexate and prednisone route with me relief. It wasn't until I went to this new dermatologist that he prescribed Dupixent. I can happily say that I have been atopic dermatitis free for 2 years now
