I'd be curious to know too. Just started taking orally about 6 weeks ago. Didn't even know a shot was an option. The only questionable side effect is that I'm having gastrointestinal issues but I also just had covid so could be that too..? Less or more side effects with the shot instead? Oh also, I take Low Dose Naltrexone, 4.5mg in case it makes a difference.

Thank you for replying appreciate it🙌I take 50 mg so yes yours is low dose compared to mines..it depends on why you're taking it..the shot is about 380mg ..I never took it but it helps because with the pill you could choose to take it or not to take it. I think I had stomach problems at first also but they went away..

I follow The Sinclair Method for drinking, so i only take it on days i drink it. If youre speaking in this context if you have the ability to take it as directed i think the pill is more convenient. If you know youll have a hard time taking the pill when youre supposed to the shot may be better. There have been times where i didnt want to take the pill which scared me into thinking about the monthly shot but i always overcame that impulse and have been able to stick to the protocol.

Thx for replying. I take it cause I'm a sex addict. May need to up my dose cause my libido is high. That's good man glad you're fighting it day by day. And yes the pill maybe more convenient especially if you're out of town and can't get the shot at the moment. I take mines everyday and can skip a day but if I skip two days that's when the cravings kick in.
