Napping to Escape Reality: Is it Healthy?

does anyone else take a nap to forget everything like the nap was so good you forget the day and time and where your at. like my bf just told his mom I take so often cause my just a sleepy person even though he know it helps me escape life for however long the nap is. I feel bad that she doesn't truly understand why I sleep but I understand why she is worried for how often I do.

I do this so often. I'm always tired due to being in pain all the time. I'll go into a coma for 13 hours and wake up feeling like I just time traveled lmao

I totally understand you. I'm in the same position too, haha. Unfortunately, I have hypersomnia and insomnia. (Win, win, right? Lol) I am so very tired in the daytime and I will sleep for about 3-6 hours depending on how tired I am... I love it but I hate it because I do enjoy my awake hours but yet... I'm too tired to do anything >:[ I understand your situation though.. it's a tricky one because it's hard to explain why you nap a lot, and some people try to understand, but don't fully get the picture..

Oh yeah. I took a nap all the time to get a good reset. And actually my boyfriend does the exact same thing. It’s like when something is bugging us or retired in general, we just take a nap

Nap time is 11-1. If I don't get it, then I honestly can't function

I honestly get that. I will sometimes do that. But then sometimes my body will make me do it on its own because of my sugars. Like for example, the other day I wanted to be up and I couldn't even open my eyes because my sugars were in 300s for no reason. We are trying to figure out why my sugars are going up and down so much. But sometimes I just want to sleep even if I just have nightmares when I sleep at least I don't have to deal with reality. But then I have my grandma think I sleep all the time or is sick and she doesn't understand or even other people think that. So I do understand.
