Seeking Advice: Nausea and Vomiting from Xyrem Prescription Increase

My doctor raised my xyrem prescription a couple months ago because I had little to no improvement on the medication, but it made me so nauseous I started puking and had to call out of work. He says that's not a common side effect of the medication. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes their has been a couple of times I have had that happen. It's also happened when I've overdose my meds on accident. You get really hot and clamy and really nausea like your going to throw up. I usually would just throw up what my last dose I had taken and felt better but then have an off day the next day since didn't get both doses into me that night

Like serial months to a year u could say but definitely in thw first 6 months
