personally, i hated that, it didn’t work for me AT ALL. I did it for three months and lost 4 pounds BUT it may work for you.

The #1 thing that worked for me was getting a prescription for phentermine (it's an appetite suppressant) and going low carb. But I've discovered that I have zero motivation to lose weight. What works for me is to concentrate on how I want to feel in my body. I had a lot of pain from inflammation, and that is why I cut out carbs and sugar for a while. My pain went away, and the pounds came off too as a side benefit. But when I started getting distracted by the weight loss, my motivation suffered.

I gave up added sugar for lent. I think this helped me to Jumpstart my weight loss. At first I said I wasn't going to watch my diet other than sugar but as I started losing weight that gave me motivation to eat healthier overall. So far I am down 16lbs in 5 weeks. I started at 292 and would like to lose 100 total.

I really want someone real to check in with and talk to about it. I use to do well when my sister also was interested and checked in with me. But she gave up and now I'm bored with it because I'm alone with it. "No body cares why should I" running through my mind too much. I have Fitbit, but no l don't know he to make friends there and have conversations about my good vs bad days. It's not supportive the way i need. Still hoping to find someone to share my struggle with so if you're another person who just needs to be able to say. "I met my goals for today" or "It wasn't my day today". I need that too!

Just focus on one day at a time. I find making a list of what I will eat and planning 5 minutes exercise helps. It makes me feel good to check it off
