Struggling with Nerve Pain, Need Advice

I’ve been dealing nerve pain for a while. My GP referred me to 2 neurologists places but they both said they didn’t handle this sort of thing. I’m not sure if there was some sort of miscommunication or a procedure we’re missing or something, do you guys know what to do or how this works? It’s been getting worse for a while and keeps me bedridden half the time. We found duloxetine on accident but makes it harder for me to eat, isn’t working like I need it to, and I don’t think my GP can prescribe any other kind of nerve pain meds.
