Neurology Department No Longer Seeing Chronic Migraine Patients?

Has anyone here been told that the neurology department no longer see anyone with chronic migraines? I was told 5 months ago I was being referred to neurology for mine, it never happened and today have been told that neurology no longer take referrals for people with migraines. The NHS website says otherwise though. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I was also told something similar but I was referred to physical therapy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am not sure why but I am definitely looking into getting a second opinion...or a new primary care physician.

I rang the neurology department and they told me that they are still accepting people who suffer with chronic migraines. 😪 They won't refer me to anyone. They just keep putting me on tablet after tablet and none of them are working. It's so stressful. 😫

🤗 I’m so sorry . I’ve never been to neurologist for my headache I’m seen by a headache clinic at the university of Washington. I know that must be frustrating to have to deal with on top of how you feel.. big hugs 🤗
