Patricia51 🤗,So I've had Adrenal insuffiency with is secondary sai. Addisons is pai. Some people have low bp when going into a crisis. Also steroids mess with your BP and sugar. It can affect your hormones in a major way affecting your thinking. I have my potassium and magnesium chked every six months. I have to take supplements. I talk alot about vitd3 of how it has helped me from covid along with keeping my immune system up along with vitc daily. Some people get Addisons from taking steroids for other issues like back pain injections as well as for infections.Often another autoimmune disease is diagnosed with AI. As I said earlier here primary Adrenal insuffiency is call pai. Secondary is what I have it's called sai.I was in a great Facebook called Adrenal insuffiency. They have people that can help you when you have major questions as you learn about it and what to do.Educating yourself about has been very important to me. Its overwhelming in the beginning. It's very difficult for others that don't have it to understand what I go through.Lack of energy, depression, anxiety. I would sweat like crazy .It's super important to drink plenty of water and eat alot of fruits and vegetables. Processed foods make me ill. I've learned to cut things out of my diet and add new things 1 at a time. Becoming aware of what's happening in your body by taking daily bp and choking your sugar to me is very important because steroids affect those factors along with your diet.I am very careful with stress dosing because the steroids cause health issues as you get older. Like I have R.A. in all my major joints. So I don't take stress doses unless my bp is real low or I'm getting very ill or severely stressed. You will do great. Your asking the right questions.Blessings...
