Hi Emo, What type of Lupus, SLE? I personally have not been dx'd with SLE, however my Mom has. She was dx'd when she was under 40 (that was 4 decades ago). She has had a positive outlook most of the time but the have been times when she has struggled. What she has said repeatedly is that without exercise she is absolute miserable. She has avoided steroids like the plague. She continues to play tennis on two separate leagues in competition play, despite her chronological age of nearly 80. She has taken Plaquenil (hydroxychlorquinine) for most of the time. She is religious in getting eye exams to monitor their care. ❤️

the eye exams are one thing I'm big about, I'm currently on steroid treatment post op from wisdome teeth removal but would like to know why she avoids them.
