Woop! Newly diagnosed as well! Autism, diagnosed like 4 months ago finally. Self-diagnosed like 3 years ago. Trust me, once you own it completely life gets so much better emotionally and easier to cope with. A phrase I use when my neurodivergency is causing confusion is say “ohkay you said this and my autistic brain thought this-“ that way people see my train of thought easier and it does wonders cuz no one is telling you you’re weird or wrong. It’s just a different train of thought. Also remind yourself that it’s a completely different neuro type. Your brain is wired completely differently than a neurotypical. The reason “spectrum” is in the name is because we are neurodivergents are on a circle spectrum with each other based on our gifts. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ 💕 🤗

I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at 18. I'm 24 now. So I understand being diagnosed late.

Thank you guys for the support! I’m 22, and suspected for a few years but getting a diagnosis really helped me understand myself ❤️

I am 20 years old and got diagnosed at age seven. I have figured out certain things I really love sensory wise and things I don't love sensory wise. I make sure to stim when I feel like it and have fidget items personally in my day. Congratulations on your diagnosis. Feel free to message me any time if you want.
