Recent Nightmares with Shadow People

Ive just started having nightmares recently. In my dream i had 2 kids and i was laying on their bedroom floor so they could go to sleep, and about 5-6 dark figures pinned me down and started to surround me and going in circles. when i told me husband about this he had mentioned i was seeing shadow people. and i was doing research on it and now its all i think about. before that dream i had 3 others with those "shadow people" in it. has anyone experienced anything like this...?

I'm not but if you're willing to it might me a good idea to try a medication for it. My mom is on trazadone for her nightmares and I'm on prazosin cause trazodone didnt work for me. The bad nightmares have pretty much completely stopped for both of us, me more than my mom. Could they be trauma induced or maybe something paranormal? Not trying to scare you but I used to have nightmares in my old house a lot and by lack of better terms that house had crazy bad vibes and I was frequently on edge and scared for literally no reason and it stopped when I moved out of the house. Either way I hope you find a solution, I know how rough it can be. Much love 💕

Shadow people are often seen during sleep paralysis episodes, I’ve had a sleep paralysis episode where one choked me before. I also have ptsd and recently got a valium prescription for muscle spasms and it’s helped my nightmares a ton
