Using Oil Painting App to Cope with Panic Attacks

I just wanted to share that there is an app called oil painting. When I feel panic attacks coming on, I paint a pic and it distracts me while I calm down. I always share the pic with my kids.

I have this app too! Yes, it helps to calm me down enough that I do not take it out on anyone or brings me down to something I can manage.

It is distracting but my back kills me sitting in the chair so I can’t do it for too long anytime

I actually paint and I would recommend it no matter what your skill level. It forces you to focus on what you are doing in the moment. Get an inexpensive water color set to start. There are also great YouTube videos for instruction
