I read this awesome book in treatment. Its called the 4 agreements. ( I think the # is wrong.) But the latter word is right. Anywho, it says that everyone lives in there own bubble. And that its like our own private movie in our head. Soo essentially we are all the lead character in our movie of our lives. Then there is the supporting roles like family and friends. Followed up then by characters w a few small lines like our neighbors, co-workers, the quirky homeless man u help w $$ and chat a little w on the way too work and our local barista or grocery store worker. Lastly there is the background actors. Soo even if u do something off, unless you are like trying too murder them or something they are more than likely too forget it as something else in there "life movie" grabs all their attention. The book also states that everyone in life views things differently. To me there is nothing more true !! This really has helped me somewhat as I myself struggle w paranoia and anxiety. The book is written by an author w a spanish last name too. Please please read it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me. I have felt like I was so alone and like I am going crazy. I feel as if I’m losing my mind. I was never this way before but things changed after my 10 year old son was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. I find myself in panic for any little thing 😥 I feel as if I’m going through depression because of it. I rather be home in bed and to do daily activities is draining to me now. I’ve been single for 7 years but even finding someone seems like so much effort for me that I may give up on it.
