How do I emotionally get past going through the partial paralysis, when it sets me back so bad that i have to relearn how to walk?

I am so sorry its lasting that long. Since I have hemiplegic migraines, the doctor mistook my stroke for a migraine until I ended up on a vent. So when I read that your paralysis takes that long to come back from, I got worried about a TIA for a minute. Can I ask what you take for yours? I warn people if I’m using my forearm crutches again as well. I tell them I’m fine and don’t make a thing out of it. At this point they’re good at just going about things. Having people who understand around you really really helps

I agree. My right side has been chronically weak, but is starting to get stronger. Working on my hormones and getting out of fight or flight mode and getting toxic relationships and situations out of my life is helping. I know it’s frustrating- I cried many tears not being able to walk, but it will get better. I will be praying for you! ❤️

I just got botox around my occipital nerve in the back of my head and it helped my leg/ankle area.

is this from hemiplegic migraines? if so, it sets you back you have to learn to walk? and you said “48 hrs” to “how long is this lasting” do you mean the numbness, or just numb in one specific area?
