Overcoming Social Anxiety in College

I'm in college and I am afraid of socializing. How can I do that but not have people think im weird..?

I know it’s hard to think like this, but once you get out of high school, it doesn’t matter what somebody thinks about you. If you make a poor first impression, you can just choose to not see them ever again. The important thing is putting yourself out there and finding like-minded people who will become your friends. Sure, some people won’t click with you, but that’s fine. You don’t have to see them ever again. You can do that in classes, study sessions, sporting events, hall events, or just walking around campus. Another way to find some friends is by joining a club and meeting people through that. That way you already know you have something in common with them, you can start a conversation about that thing, and given enough time you’ve got a new friend
