Struggling with Overthinking and Racing Thoughts

My thoughts have become so bad that they are now on auto-pilot and disrupt my work. I feel like I cannot continue focusing if I do not conquer my thoughts and answer whatever I’m overthinking. It got so damaging, that now I wake up every single night with rushing thoughts that don’t stop. They cause me to lose so much sleep and make me very stressed. The worst part is, that I do not even know when they start. They take over my mind to the extent that I do not even consciously realize them. It’s an endless cycle. I tried meditation, but I have a lot of trouble focusing. They are taking over my everyday tasks, too. Any tips on how to get my life back?

I know that feeling! For me, the most effective way to deal with it is to mix CBT with drugs (SSRIs and even Benzo at the beginning of treatment).
