I was talking to a nurse practice friend and she is using it for weight loss. She said it's been great for weight loss. But she had ba nausea for several weeks, but Zofran helped.

I was on Ozempic for 3 months and loved it. But then my insurance decided I didn't need it.

I am on Ozempic for Diabetic. I have lost about 15 pounds so far, but I was really sick for the 1st 2 months, diarhea, throwing up. It states it in the insert that it comes in. I'm balanced out now, but you can expect it.

Wegovy is semaglutide and my Internist put me on Rybelsus which is semaglutide in pill form. (And my insurance pays for it whereas the Wegovy injections it will not). I have had success with weight loss with this. As far as side effects, a bit of gas and at first a negligible amount of nausea yet for me the benefits outweigh a little stomach discomfort.
