Need advice for dealing with panic attacks

I've been having panic attacks more recently and I'm having trouble finding ways to calm myself down when I feel ones about to happen. Anyone have any advice for me?

Hi there! It's really hard to be dealing with panic attacks. I get them sometimes. I tend to try to immediately do something to ground myself back in the moment: > Wash hands/face in cold water > Hold ice cubes in each hand > Run in place for a minute > Do jumping jacks Something to quickly move my attention to a different sensation or experience in my body. Then careful grounding: > the 5-4-3-2-1 method > box breathing > get my bare feet on actual grass or dirt if possible > progressive muscle relaxation > the tapping solution (app available) If you have a few options, a few tools in your toolbox you can try when you sense one coming on, sometimes that helps the anxiety dissipate even a little, just knowing you have some tools to try. And if one doesn't work, try another, and another. 💕
