I've never seen any research of panic attacks being a direct symptom (there could be some out there though!). However fibromyalgia is linked to anxiety, there's lots of research on that. When our bodies have a flare we can feel really vulnerable and our survival instincts can kick in a lot more which could result in panic attacks. I would try to talk to your doctor about it and maybe ask to talk to someone about how your physical health impacts your mental health. There are also lots of amazing recourses online to help you prepare for panic attacks, things like grounding and self soothing. That could be a start until you can see a professional.
