Looking for PCOS management tips

Hi my name is Chanel I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2019 but I’ve been dealing with this issue for years. I’ve been taking supplements but are there any I should stay away some and some I should look into? Is there any specialist I should see? I feel like I’m at a point where nothing is happening but I still feel so off. Any tips or help would be great.

Hello! For PCOS I would recommend seeing a reproductive endrocrinologist. You will probably need a reference primary care provider. There are a variety of medications they can put you on depending on your lab results. Also in terms of supplements I think it will depend on your lab results as well. But I do a combination of fish oil, magnesium, and a drink called RelaxMax. You can buy the generic version on Amazon. I’m not sure why exactly but the combination of these things made my testosterone drop 20 points. I have been in the same boat as you for years, it’s a miserable condition especially when you don’t know what to do about it. Some doctors can be very unhelpful. Good luck and let me know if you ever want to chat. ❤️

Hello! I’ve seen amazing changes using inositol. A high quality omega, magnesium glycinate, and zinc are also in my daily regimen and have seen positive changes!

I also use zinc for immunity purposes! Had no idea it could be good for PCOS

Yes! On top of immunity purposes it helps for reducing hair loss and hirsutism and helps with insulin resistance!

I’ll definitely look into seeing an reproductive Endocrinologist. I actually take zinc now as just a health thing, I have the powder and I add it to my smoothies every morning. I wanted to look into inositol as well cause I heard good things about it. I’m looking into seeing a dietitian as well who knows about PCOS. Thank you all for the input I will definitely be looking into these things. ❤️
