Managing PCOS without estrogen-based contraceptives

How do you treat PCOS when you can't have estrogen based contraceptive pills due to blood clot risk from migraine auras? I recently switched from Dianette to Slynd (progestin only) but I am sure it makes my POTS worse, due to it being a diuretic. I desperately need to keep my acne and hirsutism at bay!
