Oh so sorry to hear that. Perhaps there is a physical therapist willing to do video visits and talk you thru the exercises…?

I just read your post and wanted to let you know YouTube has (free) channel The MS GYM. Coach Trevor Wicken has a Masters degree in movement disorder and PT. he also offers a FB PAGE (same title) for free and a paid program membership online. I've followed him for the past year and he really knows what he's talking about plus he's a genuinely decent guy dedicated to people with MS. check him out. Free is my favorite 4letter word!

Lift 5# bag of sugar (weight). Put a broomstick behind your shoulders and turn side-2-side. Same, but bend side-2-side. If you have a dog throw tennis balls for 10 minutes. Your dog may quit before you do! Check out youtube MS GYM, with coach Trevor Wicken. He's great and YT is free. You don't need fancy or expensive equipment. Stretch out like a kitten everyday. Hug a big pillow to your chest and try to reach around to grab your opposite hands together. Tie some pantyhose end to end, and stretch them as far apart as possible. A 16 Oz plastic water bottle can be held in each hand and lift them both at once or one at a time over your head. Look around your house there are all kinds of things you can use to get a little active motion going on. You might surprise yourself. Good luck!

Can you call an Uber or taxi in your area to take you to your appts? Possibly a friend or family member that would help out. I run into the same problem. Not because he doesn’t want to, but he has to work for us to survive. I’m struggling getting disability, so every dime counts. Call on retired church members. This isn’t the time to be shy. This is your life and health we’re talking about. Reach out to your community.

Theleolady: Well, darn! Thanks so much for the feedback and support. I'm glad you posted. I'll check out Mandy tomorrow. Great knowing we have a new place to go for the times we just need to chat with someone who gets it! Cheers, darling. ( I'm southern...everyone is either darling or a dumb summa bit*,h- you know!?)

Honey, I’m from the hills in NC. I completely understand never calling anyone by their name. I have an awful time with transportation. I even tell people to drive my car, I got the gas and I’ll take you to lunch after and it’s still difficult to get in your words a summa bitch to help me. I completely understand. That’s why I see started looking at retired church members and ladies of the church that didn’t work. Their hoping for a little gossip to take back anyway, so why not. Lol

For kicks ( but don't tell, ) there's always " well, I heard she said " and see what comes back. Amazing little Grey haired church ladies clucking like chickens over the latest gossipy tidbit. No harm. No foul, though. FOWL? Have to keep it clean and harmless. As a kid we played Telephone. Whisper into the next kids ear, go around the circle and laugh when the last one finally says it out loud. Along that line. Harmless clucking for fun.
