Insomnia during PMDD cycle

Any of my fellow PMDD sufferers have a night or two each cycle where you have pure insomnia and don't sleep at all....?

Yes. Monthly I have a a couple days I can't sleep to save my life. Even with sleeping meds.

I actually had it all the time, but mostly out of anxiety and stuff caused by the syndrome.

For me it can be 3-5 days of 2 hours of sleep or less a night.

Yes, I just noticed this in the past couple times around, that I’ve had insomnia a few days when I bleed (usually I have hypersomnia).

Yeap, it's 2 days no sleep and the. 2 days straight depression sleep.

Yep. I'll sleep great then out of the blue I won't be able to at all. I'll set up and eat, watch TV, walk around my house, even outside.

Yep, I have resorted to taking half a Xanax to stop my racing thoughts. It’s so annoying.

Yep! Beginning of cycle and around ovulation the insomnia is from night sweats

Currently there 🫠 nothing really helps besides some yoga before getting into bed for me, just haven’t had the motivation to do so 😅
