Looking for PMDD Support

Hi there, I just joined this app in the hopes of meeting people who have my same disorder. I feel so alone when I have PMDD and would love to know what you do to relieve the symptoms?

Can you help? Connect today

I just joined this app for the same reasons! I’m still struggling with mine unfortunately, but antidepressants have been helping quite a bit. Having something to look forward to every day has been helping me too, whether it’s a bagel for breakfast or a movie date that night. Be kind to yourself, you’ve got this!

I recently downloaded the app and just logged on now for the same exact reason. I have no helpful tips but I promise you’re not alone in this. It sucks

Same here! I’m trying out extended cycle birth control. And mentally, Sometimes it works if I remind myself there’s another side, beyond the symptoms, when I’m in the middle of symptoms.

I increase my anti depressant from 100 to 150 2 weeks prior, then to 200 one week prior into my period which is due to start tomorrow and it’s made a huge difference, also regular validation and support to help the distortions, i use a cute little app called Finch, it’s like duolingo for mental health. That serotonin drop is a doozy!

Trying to cut out sweets, I crave them during my luetal phase, but I guess they make your mood and hormones actually worse although temporarily provide relief. I may have a little but try to really cut it out.
