Popped Toe and Soreness: What Can I Do?

I popped my toe and it hurt rly badly and now is sore to bend still, I rly don’t think I dislocated it but I might’ve still injured it, I’m hyper mobile and believe I have HEDS potentially. What can I do to help? I was just popping the knuckle and it hurt.

Try icing it, if that makes it worse try heat instead. Sometimes they can be aggravated for a little bit if the joint has slightly slipped in the socket. Honestly I would recommend not cracking your joints with having hypermobility unless it's really uncomfortable and feels like it needs cracking. If you have any discolouration or changes in how quickly blood comes back to the end of your toe, get seen by someone asap. Otherwise just rest it, massage it gently (don't crack it more) and ice/heat it. If you don't have a heat pad or hot water bottle, put some dry, uncooked rice in a sock, tie it off and microwave it. (Make sure the sock doesn't have metallic threads)
